Just as we meticulously select our Bedding & Sanitation, Specialized Foods, and Cage Accessories, we stand behind the quality of every product we ship worldwide. If an item isn’t right for your sugar glider, hedgehog, reptile, or chinchilla, our straightforward returns process is designed with your convenience in mind.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
1 Time Frame
You may request a return or exchange within 15 days of receiving your order.
2 Condition Requirements
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
- All original tags, labels, and safety seals must be intact.
- For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on certain products (see below).
3 Non-Returnable Items
To ensure the health and safety of all pets, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Foods & Treats: All opened or unsealed packages of pet food, treats, mealworms, and insects.
- Health & Nursing Supplies: Opened vitamins, health supplements, and any nursing or medical supplies.
- Sanitation & Bedding: Opened bedding materials or sanitation products.
- Personalized or Custom Items: Any made-to-order or personalized products.
- Fleece & Nest Pouches: If removed from its original packaging, for hygiene reasons.
Important: We adhere to strict biosecurity and hygiene standards to protect your exotic pets. Returns are not accepted for items where the integrity of the sealed packaging cannot be verified.
The Return & Exchange Process
Follow these simple steps to initiate your return or exchange:
Step 1: Contact Our Customer Care Team
Within 15 days of delivery, please email us at [email protected] with your order number and details about the item you wish to return or exchange. Use the template below to ensure we have all necessary information.

Step 2: Receive Your Return Authorization
Within 2 business days, our customer care team will review your request and email you a Return Authorization (RA) Number and detailed instructions if your return is approved. Do not ship any items back without this RA Number.
Step 3: Ship the Item Back
- Securely package the item in its original packaging, if possible, or suitable protective packaging.
- Include a copy of your order confirmation or the RA email inside the package.
- Clearly write the RA Number on the outside of the package.
- Ship the package to the address provided in your authorization email. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
- Please note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
Step 4: Processing & Resolution
Once we receive and inspect your returned item (typically within 5-7 business days of arrival at our facility), we will process your request.
- For Refunds: We will initiate the refund to your original payment method.
- For Exchanges: We will ship the replacement item to you using your preferred shipping method. You will receive a tracking number via email.
Refunds: Timing & Methods
When Will I Receive My Refund?
Refund processing times depend on your original payment method and your financial institution:
- Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): Refunds are processed immediately upon approval. It may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank’s policies.
- PayPal: Refunds are typically reflected in your PayPal account within 3-5 business days.
You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued from our system.
Original Shipping & Return Shipping Costs
- Original shipping fees (Standard or Free Shipping) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of wrong item shipped or defective product.
International Returns (Global Customers)
As we serve exotic pet owners globally (excluding some remote areas in Asia), please be aware:
- You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees incurred when returning an item internationally.
- We cannot mark returned items as “gifts” on customs forms.
- For exchanges to international addresses, standard shipping rates will apply for the replacement shipment.
